Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research
For principal investigators and student research assistants who are supported with federal funding must complete RCR (Responsible and Ethical Conduct for Research) training offered by CITI. Instructions on how to complete the training are here. Please discuss with your research mentor to determine if you need to complete.
If conducting research with humans subjects, visit the IRB Protocol website.
If conducting research with animal subjects, visit the IACUC Protocol website.
To report concerns regarding potential research misconduct, visit the Faculty Handbook Appendix N for guidance.
Research Security Training
For principal investigators who are supported with federal funding and are required to take Research Security Training, please visit this spaces site. You must complete the training and return the certificate of completion to the Office of Sponsored Research. This is the condensed version, which satisfies the required training, and should take about an hour.
Forms
The annual Conflict of Interest and Certificate of Assurances need to filed annually with the Sponsored Research Office for all federally funded projects. Email the Director of Sponsored Research at jacksmar@lafayette.edu for the latest copy of the form.
