Sponsored Research at Lafayette College

The role of the Office of Sponsored Research is to support faculty and others on campus so that they can successfully apply for and receive external funding to support their individual research projects.

Resources for Funding

Faculty, staff, and students can create customized searches of over 40,000 grants and foundations, including all federal agencies using SPIN.  Visit the website, create a username and password and have your account verified.  You will be notified when your account is active and you can set up and save your search(es).  Short tutorials are provided on the SPIN website for you to get started on creating/saving your searches.

Responsible and Ethical Conduct of Research

For student research assistants who are supported with federal funding must complete RCR (Responsible and Ethical Conduct for Research) training offered by CITI.  Instructions on how to complete the training are herePlease discuss with your research mentor to determine if you need to complete.
